Picked this up today and opened it. There is a single 8GB RAM stick with an empty slot. So memory is upgradeable. Great laptop. Thanks OP.

Subjective. You did well though. Keep in mind this is 1.6 more inches of screen, backlit keyboard, number pad, 6 core cpu, etc.

This is not bad. Except that the port is not usb-c with PD and DP. Also HDMI not 2.0?
