Dude, relax, this is a $70 Christmas day gift table for a couple of preteens that will probably forget about it in a year - no one here is expecting a competition grade piece of equipment...

Big bucks for a tornado table if you're a serious player. But then again, if you're a serious player, you'd already know that. For like a 10 year old or something this would probably be fine

Seems like a great deal but I don't believe it. A fooseball table at a bar costs well over a grand.

If it is good, takes sooo much space. Not just it's dimentions. It's a nightmare unless you have 5 feet room around it on all sides.

basically need a min 12' x 15' foot square area (180 square feet) to use to keep enviornment at a healthy level

Just think how great Walmart's shipping discount must be if 71 dollars and free shipping is something they want to do for this.

I agree that it looks better visually. But reviews for that one are actually worse (at least on Walmart's site; they fare slightly better on Amazon). Consensus seems to be that the legs for that one are made of cardboard and not confidence inspiring. Also all seemingly metal parts are actually chrome plated which peels off.

In comparison, reviews of this $71 table seem to be much better. Though that might be because of what's offered at such a low price.

I almost went for that but some of the reviews are downright scary. The cheaper one seems to have better reviews. I ordered one. I'm curious to see if it suffers from the "bad men" problem mentioned in a review of the more expensive table.

On youtube this guy is assembling this, or a similar model by same company. Definately looks like it's going to fall apart sooner, not later. Particle board. PIeces together in organized way, but any strength or ruggedness is fictional.

This is that exact sort of product I would assemble using small amounts of 6 hour epoxy on every single joint and contacting pieces. 6 hour so you have time to finish and get everything square and level, working. Then let the epoxy dry for two days before touching it. I'd turn it over and use JB weld as 'caulk' on the underside corners and edges. Do all of that and it might still be around in a year instead of 2 weeks or 2 months.

It's obviously going to shake to pieces if assembled as instructed.

Then the rods will bend and won't move in and out smoothly anymore. Not worth paying money to help fill your dumpster.

Honestly, could pour some epoxy down the inside of the rods (when brand new and in perfect shape) and use a pipe brush to distribute an even inner coat. Few have that much patience. and honestly, getting too complex. Only takes one thing to fail before whole thing is junk.

I have done things about this complex that worked out great, and it comes with a giddy amount of satisfaction. Would add probably $25 cost to a $90 clearance table, but that can be a good thing.

My instinct says pass on this one. I don't have the room for it, or I would probably get it and see if I could make it a working tank as a challenge. Everything is made cheap these days, but often great design. I have so many great things because I skillfully glued them to become a tank, or put down a few thin layers of polyurethane with and light sanding with fine sandpaper. Which I would do to the playfield of this thing if I took the challenge. It would take me about 5 days and almost no work. All drying time. I admit tehre would probably be about a 3% chance of unexpecting total fail.

I'm the type of guy to paint a picket fence before assembling it, use brass screws instead of nails, then use wood putty and same paint to disappear the holes, then give it a second coat of paint. <grin>

I would destroy this table within 5 minutes of playing. This is a Toy for elementary kids.
