The one I bought today has 64 GB of space (vs 32) and 4 GB of RAM (vs 3).
What IS BB's return policy? I know it is extended thru 1/16, but will they accept opened tablets? I want to compare this to the 32 GB 3 GB ram I got from Costco.

Good question. I'm not sure, but I'd like to know too. Just in case.

Performance would be fairly similar, though the fire hd10+ has 4GB ram vs the 3GB in the galaxy tab.

I was going to buy this tablet, but I bought the fire hd 10+ instead for $105. Fire toolboxed it and it's a great tablet for cheap. It also gets updates for 4 years after amazon stops selling it, which will be at least a year or two. Samsung is only going to update the A7 for another year or so.

I for one am tired of companies cranking out a new tablet every year that isn't much different from the year before, and abandoning software updates.

My 2015 Fire HDX tablet got updates until earlier this year!
How'd you get for 105?

Does anyone know if you can play apps like NFL/Madden and FIFA - I need this for long car rides for the kids to visit family up north (7-8hr rides).

Does anyone know if this model supports Samsung's 'Dual Audio' feature that lets you stream audio to two different Bluetooth devices at once? I haven't been able to find clear specifications on if that's supported or not. It IS supported in the S7 models.

Can you talk more about what it means to "Fire toolbox" the tablet?

Some hacker-ish tools to remove ads, bloatware and add google play store. I heard it's blocked in the latest and greatest Fire Bezos but not sure. I have been eyeing this but Costco has been out of stock for so long I ended up biting the Lenovo P11 Plus steal.

That was the sale price for a few weeks about a week ago. I think it went up from 105 to 129 this past week.

Google "fire toolbox". Some folks put together a program that lets you connect your tablet to a PC, and the program will add the google play store and google services, google assistant, disable the amazon bloatware (if you aren't using it), take the amazon ads off of it, etc.

You have always had the ability to do this by hand, this makes it easy!

Are you sure? I stuck a card in there and the tablet asked me if it was for portable storage or system storage.

If you put a pre-formatted card in, it may not have given you the option. Go to settings/storage and try reformatting the card and see what you get. If it still doesn't work, let me know and I'll "fire" mine up (yeah, I'll throw myself out of the club now) and see if I can reproduce how to make it use system storage.

That having been said, you can always use the card for downloads/media storage and just use the internal storage for apps alone. It'd be challenging to get 32GB of android apps!

You can now, after the August update you can move most apps on to the SD card. I own the Tab A7 64gb.
