Very tempted, though was burned by FLIR the first time around. Their Gen1 was awesome until it was bricked/killed by FLIR "updating" their app.
It happened to loads of us, and FLIR's customer service… well… let's just say that they don't view people as their customers. I'm sure the Department of Defense has great results with FLIR's customer service. As for everyone else? I was told it was my fault for trying to use a previous-generation FLIR device, so I should just buy a new one. (I'd paid over $300 for it, and they said I shouldn't expect to use it that long. So it was like a $100/yr subscription.)
