The newer screen is beautiful. I normally wouldn't tell people that the upgrade is worth it if you already own one, but if you don't (or in your case have a choice) I would absolutely get the OLED one. Even just the double internal storage is perfect for a portable console.

What I love about this is now the scalpers are in shambles. Kudos to Nintendo for flooding the market with these right before Christmas preventing scalpers from price gouging. lol

Thank you OP! I now have the older model switch that was $300 and came with a 12-month Nintendo membership and carrying case, as well as an order in for this oled version.

Is my 14 year old going to care or want the oled version over the other? One of the two switches will be returned, and I'll eventually have to decide which one...
