Just saw this advertised on Reddit, but this is a really hot deal for those that can get it. Note these are "slightly blemished and gently used".

I'm guessing there will be a line for these deals. I have the Hyperscorpion and that thing is a blast to ride as a little 30mph moped around town.

CrossCurrent S2 Starting at $399 (Regularly $1,799)

RipCurrent Starting at $599 (Regularly $1,799)

Scrambler Starting at $699 (Regularly $1,799)

Scorpion Starting at $499 (Regularly $1,799)

RipCurrent S Starting at $999 (Regularly $2,699)

CrossCurrent X Starting at $899 (Regularly $2,499)

Refurbished ebikes with no warranty from a company that just imports cheap generic bikes from China and slaps their name on it.

This seems like a really good way to burn your house down. As someone who has been in the bicycle industry for 20+ years let me offer one piece of advice:

Don't buy cheap ebikes and never buy used ebikes.
As I said in my other comment, go to YouTube the founder designs the bikes himself, including the packs and motors. He's been at it for years. In the industry it's pretty respected. Very different than the hordes of generic ebikes you see advertised on Instagram.

Also these aren't cheap, I'd say mid tier. These guys were the first to standardize on 52V. The drive system is super high quality, although to your point the other components (brakes, derailleurs, shocks, etc) aren't that great, just get the job done. But for me the pack, motor, and controller are what are key for a good ebike. I'm on 3000 miles (about 100 full charge cycles I'd estimate) and the pack Id say is about 85-90% of OG capacity.

The only challenge I had was having a flat…bike shops won't have the tubes in stock as it's more like a small motorcycle tire. Had to chain the bike, Uber home, and come back to pick up the bike. Ended up just patching the tube and fixing the flat was relatively easy.
This is what I mean. You're often on your own with mopeds and shops don't want to touch them

But swapping a tube should be simple on these

Look up the zip tie trick online

Aren't the batteries to be replaced every few years? I mean if I'm paying $399 I can't really complain but it's good to know to expect an expense

I just get worried when you say "failed" as those packs are incredibly dangerous when they go critical. My friend's parents garage and all their cars and almost the house got toasted by an e-motorcycle one
My Juiced Ripcurrent battery heated up on its own without load or charge. I only noticed it since I was working in my garage at the time and realized it was radiating heat. Did not catch fire, but was too hot to touch for more than a couple of seconds, so I grabbed a towel and moved it to my driveway for a day until it cooled down. The 13Ah battery is a 4P14S configuration, likely a bank of 14 cells failed, currently the pack no longer powers on. I contacted Juiced and explained that they should want the battery pack for teardown and diagnostics to prevent more severe issues with other customers in case there was a manufacturing defect. They weren't interested since it was out of warranty, regardless of the fact that my bike had <15 total charge cycles.

If these were regularly those prices, these should have 1250watt motors on these bikes. Does anybody know what size motors these have?
Most are 750W I think... I have the red scrambler and it's awesome. Can go about 30MPH with the off-road controller. https://thatredbike.com

Most ebike even from name-brand manufacturers are coming out of Chinese factories. The battery packs are produced in China because we don't have the raw materials to make them ourselves.

Also, I agree with don't buy cheap but there is nothing wrong with buying a used ebike. I've been around the ebike scene for 5+ years, and the only risk is the degraded capacity. But if you're buying a quality ebike with quality batteries, it shouldn't be an issue.
We own and operate the largest of lithium offshore in Chile. Yes, the US runs Chile for the most part. So we have the materials, but our costs to handle such products is WAY more expensive than other countries. Our dollar is so devalued, and with all the OSHA regulations and safety parameters, it would be way too much.

Looks like they just had a few. I dont see anything below 1500

It's odd that they only accept credit cards as part of a final sale. Or am I just old school?

My CCX is advertised as 750W, but the controller will push 1200W to it in R mode. I usually ride in S mode which is around 900W. Juiced is more expensive because they are semi-customized, use name brand cells, & feature a derailleur based torque sensor which gives you proportional assist base on how hard you're pedaling.
