Definitely worth it. The $5 monthly reward can be used twice (YMMV), once in store and again online (take a screenshot of it before using in store and use it online as "promo code" quickly). The 10k points can be used in store or online, just make sure to pick the right one.
So can you just buy $5 worth of gift cards each month? Seems like a decent deal you get $70 worth of stuff for $10.
Easiest thing to buy is $5 game credit like Nintendo eShop; they can print that small an amount on the register.

Monthly rewards can be used online or in store. In fact, you can double dip by first writing down the code. Then use your monthly reward in store. Then you can use the code you wrote down to buy something online.

For everyone else asking, monthly rewards expire at the end of the month so they can't be stacked. You can use them to buy digital currency (PSN card, xbox, etc) in store
Where are you getting these codes? Every month refresh I do not receive any email with the $5 off promo code. Is it added to your reward center in your account online monthly?

You can use the $5 code online. I used it last week. I've heard that you can copy the code online and use the $5 in store and then use the code on their website essentially getting $10 off (2 transactions)
Where are you getting these codes? Gamestop doesn't send any email with those? Is it added to your rewards center or something?

When you click the reward in your account, it displays a code that you can copy and paste when checking out online. In store, you just have to give them your phone number associated with your account and it should take the $5 off in store. I've just heard that you can use the in store one and then use the code afterwards effectively giving you $10 per month instead of $5 but I haven't tried it myself yet.

Three words for all the "HODLs"
Tax.
Loss.
Harvesting.
Can you explain what you mean by this? I know what tax loss harvesting is.

It literally just means getting a digital copy of game informer magazine vs getting a physical magazine in the mail each month. No other difference.

When I try to renew online I get an error that says "Sorry, but your online enrollment could not be processed at this time."

Will try again later.

Does this extend your current membership? If mine ends in 2022 December, then would this tack on to 2023 December?

Will gamestop know if I signed up with a different email but same credit card?
So I actually have two of these memberships. I used to work at GameStop and when power up started I was in college and used that email domain. After a decade I finally got booted from the app and cannot remember or reset my password. So, I go into the store each month and have them cash out that $5 reward for a $10 psn card, two times with the two different email accounts. Just has to be rung up twice because they are two different loyalty accounts. They can always use that reward in the store for you or renew your card, but they don't care how many you have set up. They get notoriety for you signing up for this program in store so if you have a good GS crew go show them some love.

Fyi .may have been mentioned but the ,$10 sign on credit and the $5month credit can be combined in-store for a single $15 Xbox/psn credit.

the rewards points can be redeemed online, but the monthly $5 certificate that comes with the membership is in-store only.
I used my 5 dollar certificate online yesterday.

I get an email at the beginning of the month and an expiration reminder towards the end. Both emails include the code for you to cut and paste online. 👍
