Total cost... $984 + tax + $55 service for 3 months ($5 first month w/ referral + $25/mo second and third month); less $200 rebate and if you don't need the AirPods Pro, maybe you can get roughly $150 if lucky.

Around $780 w/ CA tax and selling AirPods pro (assuming $150).

I have had Visible for almost two years. I would not rely on it for home service and increased device ID has now been added that Visible can more easily determine what your SIM card is plugged into if you're using a jetpack rather than your device. This "upgrade" happened this month. Over all I can't find a better service for 25 bucks after tax per month.

That being said, the hotspot works fairly well but is capped at 5/mpbs and if you're using Android is capped at one linked device per phone. Happy to answer any questions to share a code if you need one.

I am currently using an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Wifi calling enabled. I work from coffee shops a lot and use my hotspot + Nord VPN and don't have issues. I stream Spotify and work away. I've been without service three times in the two years - once while in the Smoky Mountains, just south of Lexington KY and closer to the TN border and at a festival south of Indianapolis but overheard all cell towers were overloaded. Cheers!

Do you get the promotional items (Airpod pro and $200 gift card) if you decide to finance the Iphone through Affirm? It will not be paid off filly within the first 2 months.

Would be keen to hear your porting experience as I will be porting from mint too.
Following up, as I just ported from Mint to Visible today. It was a breeze. Downloaded the app, popped the sim in, restarted my phone, and went into the app and activated from there. If you follow the directions on the website, you shouldn't have any issues.

https://www.visible.com/help/how-...t-sim-card

Only thing that annoyed me is it looked like the box for my iPhone 13 Pro had been opened. One of the little security stickers on the back of the box looked like it had been cut. However, when I took the phone out it still looks brand new and it doesn't look like any of the cables or accessories have been used. Not sure what the deal is. Maybe the workers at Visible opened the box, so people would be deterred from selling it as "new". I don't otherwise see how the box could open itself like that unless it was intentional or had been tampered with.

Be careful about the 60 days unlock. I am fighting Visible through BBB right now because Visible refused to unlock my iPhone purchased 09/25. I activated iPhone and SIM together 09/28 but Visible say only phone was activated and so on. They also haven't made clear if the phone and SIM have to be used together for 60 days or just activated together and that's after speaking with 4 or 5 members of the Executive Relations Team

Either way, I requested their Executive Relations Team to provide detailed unlocking policy through BBB so it's public and I'll re-post here what they said here
What exactly do you mean by activating the phone? How would they know whether or not you even use the phone? Besides associating the IMEI number or something like that.

Any process ? I gave up. They don't even believe screenshots…
No progress, they just repeat the same lie they told me during prior email exchanges and "consider the matter resolved" without clarifying whether the SIM have to be in the phone for 60 days or just in the phone when activating (BBB screenshot attached)

I made sure the new phone and service were activated 09/28 before swapping in old SIM from an existing Visible line. On 12/14 I put new SIM back in the phone after a rep told me mistakenly the phone had been unlocked and I thought maybe it needs some instruction from the new SIM to unlock. This proves the "activation date of 12/16" Visible said is just the day they look into my complain and start the 60 days countdown.

Apparently both the low level reps and exclusive relationship team don't have the power to change anything in the system and can only read off the script. I am gonna wait another 56 days and see if iPhone will be unlocked. There is an chance it won't again and the rep will make up another excuse not on their Device Unlocking Policy

Visible have the mean to detect what phone is connected to their network now which wasn't the case 2 years ago when I started their service. You need to turn on new phone with included SIM and go through the app to start service.

I would recommend keeping the SIM and phone together and connected to service for at least a few hours after you get connection/service to make sure their system registered this activation.

The language on their website is very vague and the reps refused to clarify how long you need to use new SIM and phone together (a few hour up to 60 days) to be considered activated but I think most people have no problem after using it together for a few hours

Ok, a not big but not small either issue for those coming to Visible. I have 4 lines and have been with Visible for 3 years. Bought a 13 Pro Max with promotion in September by moving a line over from Metro.

I have received the IPod and $200 giftcard but Visible refused to unlock my 13 Pro Max on day 80 because I use the new phone on an old line and the new SIM with an old phone. They say phone will only be unlocked if I use the new SIM and phone together for 60 days. Still fighting them over this because my family have 4 lines and them trying to limit what phone I can swap to what line is idiotic when I paid for the phone fully.
Did you insert the new SIM into the new iPhone while activating and before using it in the other older phone?

No. They always were able to see the phone and SIM card. It's just that they didn't started looking in until recently

I had Total Wireless and signed up for Visible earlier this year for 12Pro Max deal with $250 rebate and free beats headphones. It is the worst carrier for dependable service. I live in Boston and we don't have network issues but Visible does. Switched back to Total Wireless once I got the freebies. I would not recommend this carrier to anyone.
I've been thinking of switching from Verizon to another MVNO using Verizon network. Not to hijack this thread for another service but I've heard a similar thing about service being spotty on Spectrum mobile. I understand the deprioritization but spotty service concerns me a bit. Another concern is that my current Verizon phones can't switch to a Verizon MVNO because the IMEI doesn't check out.

Some of you people crack me up. "Oh there's better deals out there … oh the service is horrible … I didn't use the sim in the phone and I didn't get it unlocked … I don't get this I didn't get that" Lol.

The phone. Better deal? Where? You're getting a brand new iPhone 13 pro for $3-$400 off. In my case, I was just about to buy the AirPods Pro so that's worth $200 alone. So for me I just got a $984 phone (13 pro) for $584. NOWHERE does that deal exist. For those of you who claim one of the big three carriers giving $800 off or $1000 off — WRONG — because those deals involve multi year contracts where you're gonna get gauged on monthly plans. I've played that game for 20 years and IT'S OVER.

The plan. $5 first month. $25 thereafter. Heck, I just saw an ad for $15 per month for two months! Unlimited everything! Apparently it's promo code HOLIDAY. So for 3 months, I'm going to pay anywhere for $35 to $55 — TOTAL for 3 months! I currently pay AT&T almost $90 PER month with taxes for basically the same service. I'm getting 3 months TOTAL for fractions of what I pay in ONE month. I'll take that risk any day.

The service. Ok, so who knows how good the service is. I've been with AT&T for 20 years so I have no clue. I could be pleasantly surprised or grossly disappointed. Who cares. It's $35-$55 for 3 months to find out. In fact, to be safe, I also bought the Mint 3 months free deal ($90 for 6 months) from Best Buy as a backup. Once I start using Visible next week, if I don't like the service, I'll pop the Mint sim in my 6s and ride that for 6 months while the Visible sim sits in my Visible 13 Pro and I use it on wifi at home. That means my 6 months TOTAL bill for unlimited everything would be $145 at most for two phones and two lines for 3 months, with one of them extending for another 3 free months. That roughly averages to $25/month for unlimited everything. Which MVNO or major carrier has a better deal than unlimited everything for $25/month for 6 month (with 3 of those months including an extra line)? Not a single one from my extensive research (I'll happily stand corrected if someone can prove me wrong).

The unlocking. Lol. This one cracks me up. JUST DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO. Stop trying to game their system. Follow it to a T! When I got the 13 pro in my hands a couple days ago, I could not believe how massive the phone was, especially its weight. The thing weighs one half pound - literally! Remember, I've been rolling with a 6s for 5 years, which is like a feather in comparison. The first thing I said to myself was, "no biggie, if I don't like it, I'll just pop the Visible sim in it with my ported number, use it occasionally/never/let it sit in the box until it's unlocked in 3 months and once I get my $400 of goodies, I'll sell the thing." It will be MINT/rarely used and go for $8-900 easy. In the meantime, I'd just use my 6s with Mint. Then I'll probably buy a 13 mini directly from Apple for 80% off with the hundreds of dollars of iTunes gift cards I have accumulated over the years at 20% off.

The customer service. Who cares. Be nice, be patient/respectful/complimentary/flattering and they'll go the distance for you. I've chatted with them multiple times over the past week and they've all been helpful. Being with the same carrier for 20 years, the whole porting/transferring thing and the sequence it happens with activation, etc. was a bit confounding to me. They clarified it for me and solved my concerns (particularly as the "porting" part is integral to this deal). Their app is slick. You can tell there's some serious financial backing behind this company (I gather they're owned by Verizon). Now, I don't want to downplay any real issues people have had with them, because I haven't walked in their shoes, but my experience so far has been very positive. If things turn sour — who cares as long as I get my deal honored: an iPhone 13 Pro for $584 and 3 months of service for $35-$55. For that kind of savings, I EXPECT some problems, will eat them for lunch, and consider it an even sweeter deal if I actually get none.

Now, the only REAL problem in my view, is if I follow all their steps/directions to a T and I don't get my $400 of goodies and an unlocked phone in 3 months. I haven't seen such a scenario (not counting AT ALL the people who tried to game the system with all the nonsense of using the sim in some other phone or whatever). So I'll cross that bridge if I ever get there.

**So, in summary, say I ride it with Visible for 24 months it's:
— $1199 for 24 months, or $50/month (includes iPhone 13 pro and unlimited everything and all taxes), or,
— $899 for 24 months, or $38/month (includes iPhone 13 mini and unlimited everything and all taxes if I sell the 13 pro and buy a mini and pocket around $300 in the process)

** using 6% tax for phone, $25/month for plan with $5/first month, and $25 Chase offer

In my view — there is no better deal than this. PROVE ME WRONG.

And no I don't work for Visible. I've been accused of working for Vitamix, Apple, Trader Joe's, Costco, etc, because of passionate arguments I've made on their behalfs based on MY personal positive experiences with the them. That's just how I am if I believe in something/someone.
Not to prove you wrong, just an alternative. From my calculation for 13 pro max from Visible: $1099 + around $90 for tax + $55 for 3-month service - $200 GC - $150 (airpods pro) = around $875.

If we buy XR from Total wireless (around $130 with tax), and trade in for 13 pro max (T-mobile) at Best buy: $1099 + $130 (for XR) - $400 (trade in value) + around $60 for tax = $890. It's a bit more expensive than buying directly from Visible, but the phone can be unlocked by T-mobile cs after few days, and it's great if you don't need airpods pro. However, you have to pay for 1-month service which is around $70 (someone clamed that they cancelled the service after few days and was charged fews dollars.)

Actually, I'm using Visible and I love it. $25 per month for unlimited data is much better than others.

It's not a bad deal, and I am getting 70-80mbs, however I will still switch to Mint if they have a good promo, then save $10/mo permanently.

Check CHASE for "Earn $25 back when you spend $25 or more on your first month of service with Visible."

Is there a way to prepay the service for an additional month? The first one can be $5 with referral, so CHASE offer wouldn't save much
Can't you just pay with a different card the first month, switch to the chase card on next month where you pay full price? I doubt chase would even know which month is which.
