I tried to do this over the summer, ordered 5 switch games. Two weeks later, received *one* ps3 game instead. Packing slip listed my correct order and of course online order showed delivered; I feared the difficulty in proving such a thing.

Contacted support, got return shipping label and told replacement order would be shipped when my exchange was received -_-

Went to ups store, shipped ps3 game back, waited 2 more weeks while this return package toured the country twice before reaching destination. Got automated message saying I'd be refunded for my return (contrary to replacement promised by support rep). A week goes by. No refund, no replacement. I submit claim through PayPal. Another week. PayPal claims seller is not responding. I contact support again, get rep response saying he'll *look into it* and 2 days later issues refund... then thanks me for my business and hopes that I'll continue to enjoy shopping at gamestop.

So much time and frustration just to get back to square one before attempting purchase. Wonder how many people in similar situations never get their refunds and don't notice or bother to follow up. If it wasn't for the size of the company I would be certain after this experience that the entire operation is a fraud.

I have always had good experiences at local B&M gamestop but will never ever again order something online for shipping.

Not much of a selection currently for Switch. A handful of good titles but 95%+ garbage (in terms of quality, not value) that's much cheaper digital.

Looking to get all the RE games on ps4 from 2 through 6. Might be one of the better options except the new prices aren't far off pre-owned.

If you're good with collecting, the retired systems like PS4 have some good deals and titles are coming down to about $15; paying $45 to get 5 AAA titles is a solid amount of entertainment value that's hard to beat. Great titles, from Uncharted to Spider Man...lots of diverse offerings like Valkyria Chronicles and JRPGs...But yeah, slim pickings on Switch due to the premium associated with that system.
