You get more tools with skil, but you get better quality with bosch. There is a reason why it's 5 tools for $99.

Don't underestimate the power here! I framed and completed a 1700 square foot basement with these, no issue! Small and super powerful.

These 2 tools are great and I used them professionally for years. I now use m12 for compatibility but these are more than enough for home use and this is a great price. The driver is larger but I prefer it over the M12.

I've been using a version of this drill forever (10 years?) and love it. In the process of switching to M12 Fuel, but no complaints about this one. And I've used it a LOT! bought the Bosch oscillating tool kit about the same time so had 4 batteries between them. Had ALL kinds of problems with that tool and one battery has crapped out, but 3 going strong. Lots of power for a little thing.

It depends on your needs. Bosch tools are smaller and easier for small space, and are powerful enough for most cases. Skil deal is also good with brushless and more tools. I would jump to skil deal if I don't have my Bosch which I'm very happy with.

There is a brushless version of this kit for $150. Worth it? Anyone can share their own experience?

Good price considering inflation. I got these 2 years ago for $80. I'm not an avid DIYER but these still get used 10-12 times a year and I'm a huge fan. I haven't had to touch my 20V no name drill since I've had these.

Agreed. Stopped using my Bosch 18v after getting these. So much lighter and easier to carry for most things and almost the same power (though obviously not equal for some specific applications).

impact driver: 1300RPM, 265- In. - Lbs. torque
drill driver: 2600 RPM, 3100 BPM, 930- In. - Lbs. torque

impact driver has much less torque than drill?

Get this one and spend the $50 elsewhere.

Edit: Sorry for the lack of elaboration. Agree with @cmudnd . This version is so impressive I can't see the brushless being worth it unless you plan on using it 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Otherwise the spec comparison doesn't seem worth it.

Agree. I have the brushed PS21 and the brushless PS22 and see little performance difference: it seems like Bosch's 12V brushed punch "above their weight" and Bosch's 12V brushless punch below. You can see that in the specs: the brushed impact PS41 is 930 in-lbs and the brushless impact PS42 is 970.

Also, my brushless PS22 has a delay on trigger squeeze that I dislike: I strongly prefer the brushed PS21.

If you're looking to spend more money on Bosch 12V, I recommend the GLI12V-300N light and their oscillating tool.
