I think a lot of people, including yourself just think these are standard pretty bowls, they're not. The main reason I have these are they're broiler safe. These bowls can withstand a lot more heat.

The ignorance in these comments is insane.

Are they overpriced? Sure, you're paying for the brand, but these aren't cheap bowls and have their uses, which other bowls can't withstand.
I can tell you that the brand new Le Creuset items I've bought in the last year are NOT made in China. Their better stuff is still made in France. This is a case where that is a valid criticism since they use their name and reputation as a high end French company to sell stuff from China.
I have bad news for you...

Name a few things in the room you are currently in that are not made in China.

Le Creuset is so overrated.
Mostly I agree with you. The only product they have where they really show their value is their silicone spatula line. While my Dollar Store ones and even KitchenAid ones have become brittle and failed/broken over the years, my Le Creuset set is still going strong after 20 years. If you can get a set of them (they are pricey) it's totally worth it as they will last.

This is not true. Only some of their cast iron enamel is made in France. Majority of everything else isn't.

I appreciate your feedback, but isn't 20 years is a little too much to keep using same spatula? Also, how in the world you are able to keep that one thing safe and not lose it somewhere? Hats off to you!
