If you manage to cancel the day you pick it up, you will be out the activation fee ($35 on Verizon) -- but my question is -- can you even manage it? Is your new account accessible with Verizon the moment you pick up the phone? Yes you have service, but can you get to the tools you need to to cancel it?

Not that it matters. Damn you slick deals - I placed the order anyway.....can always change later.

Got $400 trade in for the $299 iphone 12 mini I got from the Walmart deal 2 weeks ago....

A 256GB Fold 3 with wireless buds for $999 is a FAR better value than a 128GB 6.1" iPhone 13 Pro in my honest opinion…
It would be like it but one year in the future the iPhone will be more valuable in the second hand market.

I'm in the same boat, my sister has this phone and she mostly uses it folded and looks awkward the only times she really uses the unfolded screen is to watch videos and to show it off. The crease is really annoying very visible and can't ignore it, it's a groove. As soon as the front screen gets a decent screen ratio I will jump on it. It'll probably take at least a couple more generations to improve its compromises IMO.
I suppose it all depends on the user. I had the Fold 2 and upgraded to the fold 3, the only time I notice the crease is in direct sunlight. I just change the angle of the phone and the crease entirety disappears.

I really can't imagine going back to an slab phone. While there are changes you have to make when using the phone compared to other phones, the "compromises" are easily absorbed when the benefits are weighed.

It's an expensive piece of tech, but fingers crossed I've been heavily using the fold 3 and I equally used the fold 2 and had zero issues. The major reason I upgraded to the fold 3 was the moisture resistance, I plan on keeping this for a while.

Same.. tried multiple times, same error. Hopefully my credit hasn't been "probed" multiple times too.. i'd be pissed.

man an actual decent size screen that fits in your pocket… so tempted. then i wouldn't need a phone and an ipad.
I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority but I have the ZF3 and an iPad Mini 6. The ZF3 is great for watching most videos, except those 21:9 movies and that's why I purchased the iPad Mini 6. Also, for some reason, I find the crease on the ZF3 much more noticeable than the one on the ZF2 but I do like that it doesn't have the camera cutout anymore.
