I did buy Fold 3 couple months ago and I ended up selling it and I get the ultra instead.
1- the phone is too narrow when it's folded so you have to unfold it for better experience.
2- as a someone who uses social media apps it's not easy to pull out your phone and take snapchat or instagram pic right a way.
3- almost all cases with Spen are bulk and huge so I ended up leaving the SPen which is really not good.
4- watching youtube videos not great because of the Screen ratio. Basically it's even smaller than regular phones.
5- battery is really bad, Will die before the end of the day.
6- some apps look bad even if you adjust resolution and the screen ratio, for example Facebook app looks really ugly.

With all that being said I still recommend this phone if you don't mind those issues this ua really a good price.

I suppose it all depends on the user. I had the Fold 2 and upgraded to the fold 3, the only time I notice the crease is in direct sunlight. I just change the angle of the phone and the crease entirety disappears.

I really can't imagine going back to an slab phone. While there are changes you have to make when using the phone compared to other phones, the "compromises" are easily absorbed when the benefits are weighed.

It's an expensive piece of tech, but fingers crossed I've been heavily using the fold 3 and I equally used the fold 2 and had zero issues. The major reason I upgraded to the fold 3 was the moisture resistance, I plan on keeping this for a while.
Well this is a phone not great to mount on a motorcycle and what's the point you can buy a flagship phone and tablet on a deal for $500 each and the two devices will work better than this 2 phone sandwich!

There's been numerous report that battery would expand within one month. And the back glass would Crack under normal use in Taiwan and Korea. Samsung refuse to take responsibility and decide that the crack is done by human error with no explanation.
Where are you finding this numerous reports on expanding batteries? I'm a regular on the Fold forum on Reddit and I haven't seen battery expanding issues. Also haven't heard about back glass cracking, though I've seen a couple posts on the inner screen cracking which seems to be the biggest issue now.

I have a family plan... If I use someone else's upgrade, I can just put my SIM card in the phone and there's no issues other than using their upgrade, correct? TYIA!
Yes, it's an unlocked phone so you can use it with any SIM card after activation.

Isn't it thick like brick?
You have an amazing huge screen unfolded. Don't get if you don't want people gawking and asking you about your phone.

I recommend going to a store and messing with it for a while. The screen is plasticky and has a visible bump down the middle. Because of its aspect ratio videos are about the same size as a big phone. There's a reason for the price drop.
I agree that the screen is not as glass feeling as a regular phone but it definitely doesn't feel like plastic. Maybe you meant the Z Fold 2 which had a terrible plastic screen protector. Also, unless you are watching 21:9 videos on a 6.9 inch regular phone or bigger, the videos on the ZF3 are much bigger than any regular phones out there. The crease is there and you can see and feel it, though it mostly disappears when the screen is viewed head on.

Are you suppose to call t-mobile to cancel? Or do you cancel on the spot at best buy?

You just answered your own question, having one device that does the job of both without carrying 2 devices=convinience.

Good deal but I have already read that some of the Galaxy Flip phones are cracking. I would not touch this w/o some type of warranty that covers the screen for at least 3 years.
I agree, my Z Fold 2 developed micro cracks along the crease at about 10 months, good thing I had Samsung Care+ for it. I'm sure it would be covered by the normal 1 year warranty but after that it will be very expensive to get the screen replaced. I love folding phones but I won't recommend it to anyone without an extended warranty on it as the screens are like ticking bombs.

I mostly agree with your points but I actually measured the screen and watching 16:9 videos there is no way that it's smaller than regular phones. Now when watching 21:9 videos it's about as big as a regular 20:9 6.7 inch phone. If you mostly watch movies in 21:9 ratios, I'd recommend a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra instead with it's 6.9 inch screen.

Dunno about the Fold 3 but QC wise Fold 2 has been solid for me. I guess SD888 played a part?
I've owned the Z Fold 2 and now have the Z Fold 3 and they are very similar quality wise. Most of the complaints are from people who haven't really used or even seen one in person. The only real issue is the possibility of the inner screen cracking by itself which looks like mostly happens within the first few months of ownership.
