I did buy Fold 3 couple months ago and I ended up selling it and I get the ultra instead.
1- the phone is too narrow when it's folded so you have to unfold it for better experience.
2- as a someone who uses social media apps it's not easy to pull out your phone and take snapchat or instagram pic right a way.
3- almost all cases with Spen are bulk and huge so I ended up leaving the SPen which is really not good.
4- watching youtube videos not great because of the Screen ratio. Basically it's even smaller than regular phones.
5- battery is really bad, Will die before the end of the day.
6- some apps look bad even if you adjust resolution and the screen ratio, for example Facebook app looks really ugly.

With all that being said I still recommend this phone if you don't mind those issues this ua really a good price.

I've never considered a folding phone, but the price makes it tempting. 🥺

Unfortunately, I've bought 3 different phones in this past month, so I don't really need more.

So, we would have to upgrade our line? Also, I am not seeing the Tmobile $899 deal. I would never want to upgrade my grandfathered simple choice plan to anything else for a phone upgrade tbh.
I got this deal today and the upgrade was applied to my device only. My plan remained the same, T-Mobile Simple Choice. I got a 512GB Z-Fold3-5G @ $1,099.99 with free Buds2 earbuds. I didn't do a Trade-In (TI) because the discount for my Note 9 was only $90.00 which I thought was low. So, if I had taken the TI, the Subtotal would have been $1,009.99. Not bad for a 512GB! Can't beat this deal.

Thinking about selling mine for this, ordered a phone and will think it over. Plan is hold over for S22 ultra/note and hoping the trade in value will offset what I spend making the switch.

@gpthree, can you tell me if they refunded you the previous price $1399 - $999 =$400 plus tax or $1399-$200-$999=$200. Because I did a trade in for $430 +$200 promotion credit. So I paid $1399-$200-$430=$769 plus tax of $1199. I wonder if they will only refund me $200 or $400 since $200 is promotional credit for trade in. Any idea?

I have a special Unlimited account on Sprint that grandfathered from SERO. Feels like very few still have these but if you do, be careful. I can never get these Best Buy or Costco deal that require activation because they would mess up the account. Hope Samsung has a promo because they don't have requirements when it comes to activation.

There's been numerous report that battery would expand within one month. And the back glass would Crack under normal use in Taiwan and Korea. Samsung refuse to take responsibility and decide that the crack is done by human error with no explanation.
the back of the phone is metal

I wish the enhanced trade-in values would stack with the unlocked versions of the phone.
