I did buy Fold 3 couple months ago and I ended up selling it and I get the ultra instead.
1- the phone is too narrow when it's folded so you have to unfold it for better experience.
2- as a someone who uses social media apps it's not easy to pull out your phone and take snapchat or instagram pic right a way.
3- almost all cases with Spen are bulk and huge so I ended up leaving the SPen which is really not good.
4- watching youtube videos not great because of the Screen ratio. Basically it's even smaller than regular phones.
5- battery is really bad, Will die before the end of the day.
6- some apps look bad even if you adjust resolution and the screen ratio, for example Facebook app looks really ugly.

With all that being said I still recommend this phone if you don't mind those issues this ua really a good price.

This is so tempting, wish the eSIM was enabled. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
It will be enabled with Android 12. It did with my s21 Ultra. I personally need it for two lines on one phone. That said I read there has been a delay in the rollout of Android 12 to this phone. Until then, I can't go back to having two phone again and will wait until it's officially rolled out.

Bought myself and wifey one each at launch a few months back. Of course theres things that are different from standard phones you are probably used to by now, but frankly, i cannot imagine going back to normal. Finally a phone for a guy with big hands. And my wife loves her youtube and videos and loves that she has a tablet available. This is a great deal for those looking to have the newest new thing at a reasonable price.
The attention that the phone commands from both android and apple users alike (the wow factor) is evidence of the awesome that this thing is. Yonz2centz

Best Buy gets dinged if you cancel before the 60 days. They won't get their commission.
this. although third party resellers used to be able to do a secondary contract for charge backs. that was in the days of contracts, etc and i'm not sure that's a thing anymore?

I don't understand stand when they say "unlocked" but yet I have to activate today.
Does that mean I can activate with my service I already have?
the price is for activating it today. the "unlocked" just means the phone itself is not tied to a specific carrier. you can buy an unlocked and use today. just cancel your "new" service.

If you really value your grandfathered plan I would never call T-Mobile. I would only do things by Twitter DM to Tforce so you have the documented trail of conversation that exists outside T-Mobile (i.e., not the T-Mobile app) and protects you. I'm frugal but I have repeatedly agreed to the service fee by Tforce... half the time they eventually waive the fee and a quarter of the time something unexpected happens and I need to get further assistance when what they promise hasn't kicked in the days, weeks, or months later.
Upgrading phones should be okay though, right?

I haven't seen much about this phone, has it been good enough to replace anything like Note 10? I am thinking typing when it's opened might be easier? It really looks like you are carrying 2 phones, right?
Hi. I can't say anything about the fold 3 but The fold 2 replaced my note phone the fold series was the only way I would of left the note series. I do love my fold 2 it's great also Samsung no longer making the note line from what I saw online.

Grandfathered plans are definitely worth way more than a phone deal for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

Theres nothing holding you from not cancelling. The phone is unlocked so if you don't need the service, then you don't need it. It's up to you. But doing so will take $$$$ from the pockets of the Best Buy corporation. So if you can sleep well with that on your conscience, then so be it.

Why didn't they fold it such that 3/4 of the screen is available when folded.
Needs some nifty engineering I guess

Even if you find a rep that has agreed to price match, they don't actually have the power to do that. What they will do is, they will create a ticket and will tell you to contact them after it ships. Then they will submit a request which will most likely be rejected since Samsung has updated their T&C to not do price matches anymore. At best they will offer 10% to not return your order. Not worth all the effort.
At the end of the day, Samsung e-com is just another retailer competing with other retailers. They say no to my price match also, which was just delivered yesterday and they even reneged on the promised 10% refund for the delivery delay until I protested. I reckon I must have spent some 30 hrs with Samsung e-com and service/careplus in the past few weeks so I'm done with them. Once my return is processed and I get my credits reactivated (which may be another flurry of calls), I'll use it up to get the watch4 + acc and that would be it.

Thanks to the op, I got into the 512gb, Buds 2 set for delivery by this Friday. With ATT I had to add a new line so I'm looking at about 220 less than my discounted Samsung.com deal even after 1 month of service.

Went to store because of that issue only.
In my case it was SSN security and there was a requirement for manual verification on phone.
If you have the same issue you will have to go to store.
I got the same answer from the online bestbuy support.

My Note 8 died so I bought upgrade with the Flip 3 just 2 weeks ago. Wanting the Fold 3 but it was still way expensive. I pulled the trigger on this one upgrading my T Mobile Flip 3 line. Hubby's Note 8 is about going too so he's getting my Flip and I'll get the Fold. Price is too good to pass.
