I have the offer but it takes you to the offer page that consists of expensive phones and tablets and that's all….

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like there aren't any eligible items that are anywhere close to $75.

Edit: I purchased a set of headphones not on the promo page and the $75 back posted to my AMEX.

I think you are confused - these gift cards are not egift cards but come in the mail. No one could have put the $75 gift card toward their monthly bill already since the deal just started yesterday so it is not possible for anyone to have received the gift cards yet. (I have ordered them before - they are not sent overnight).

I think what people were saying is they made a $75 payment towards their monthly bill. Those people are going to be in for a rude awakening when they get their next bill since Verizon is going to take away they autopay discount for paying with a credit card.

That hasn't been my experience with any of these offers, it is usually one per primary or authorized user.

I checked my wife's account and indeed in the redeemed offers it shows. But never got the email (not in spam, etc). Odd!

But it is already redeemed so I guess I'm good to go!

Can u pay ur Verizon wireless bill with Amex card and get the $75 credit. My brother has Verizon and I can just give him my credit card and pay for it. It's like a free $75 for him.

I have att so want to put the $75 to good use

I am one of these affected people who received inactive Verizon gift cards. This happened on three consecutive orders over a period of around 18 months. Each time it was a HUGE pain to get rectified, requiring many hours on the phone with support. On one call I was bounced around to six different agents, and on the sixth the call dropped. I do commend the agents who actually persisted in correcting the issue, opting not to bounce me to yet another agent.

My third order was around 18 months after the first, and I thought surely it must have been resolved by then. I was wrong.

The weird thing is despite the apparent prevalence of this issue going back many years, no agent seemed to have ever encountered it before.

I don't know why they continue to sell these gift cards, but some people have no problems with their gift card orders. After the third order I vowed never to order gift cards again.
