I slapped in a 8GB 3200 RAM stick I have around and now it says 16GB dual channel.

Running Windows 10 LTSC 2021 like a champ.

how does it handle multiple chrome windows? 2 core cpu not a problem?
worth saving $150 instead of getting this other vivobook with 4 cores deal?

I'm almost a 100% web person. I've never really seen much benefit to more than 4 threads.

This works fine for what it is, but I'm loathe to say you should buy this 2c/4t instead of that 4c/8t. In the end if you have the money, that's not a bad upgrade for a $150.

Buy and return if you must to try them out.
