I guess I wasted $1 on this deal, as I have no use for this until May. It looks like the Boost Mobile rep gave some very wrong info at the start of this thread.

They also sent me an email titled "Joe, enable your data network activation now to get connected" with account details, including my new phone number.
Also - if we need to port out is it a simple process?

Make sure to delete the CC you have used while buying this deal and just want to try out but planning to keep it for longer.
They setup as auto pay automatically and I had to delete the method by creating/login into account, into payment settings.
