From what I understand, these are fantastic for their normal $40ish price. For $25 these seem like a steal. They're basically supposed to be a derivative of the AKG K240s
Decent sounding. But one of the most uncomfortable headphones, upgrading pads and strap is a must. But at that point it's better to look in a better headphones. Just my two cents, otherwise decent headphones
Semi opens means they'll bleed sound right? So not to be used when recording but more for mixing/producing?
They'll bleed sound, but since they're semi, not as much. Depends on the brandy really, some bleed more than others. My Sennheiser open backs bleed only when music is 70%+ volume while other brands will bleed much easier.

So pads and strap will come to a grand total of 25 bucks so you're in for 50 on these. So what other 50 dollar headphones would you suggest?
I bought the SR850 headphones a few years ago. I'm guessing the "B" is just referring to the blue color of this deal. I would not recommend these even at $25. Cheaply made and way too much high end frequencies. I have several other studio type headphones in the same price range, and these are by far the worst. So much so, that they have been passed on to my kids for playing our keyboard.

I had these at one point and at the time people said they were from the OEM stock of Superlux 668.
I liked them quite a bit for the sound but the old earpads were extremely thin. It looks like they updated them so hopefully the new ones are better.
Can't say how well they hold up value-wise after all of this time but I would not be optimistic considering I've gotten rather good budget BT headphones, earbuds for around the same price.
