You are aware that not everyone's criteria for a computer is the same, right? If everyone was using a rig for gaming, of course this chip wouldn't exist. But it's excellent for most peoples' non-gaming purposes.

Only useful if you actually need the IGP and never plan on buying a GPU, It'll do about 1080p 30fps LOW. If you have a GPU or plan to buy one, or only care about CPU performance the 12600k for $230 at Microcenter absolutely destroys it, and you get an IGP but a weaker one.

i paid $250 for it


get a 12600k.
It supports 8k60 video decoding and the AV1 video codec.
so it's more future proof than the 5700g.


I hope my visa card price protection covers me.
