So many complaints about a $50 keyboard with stand and seat not being top of the line. I guess it's not a deal if it's not an $800 Porsche. Probably still complain about the gas mileage on that too.

Even if so, the bench alone cannot be found for less than $20. Not on Amazon, not CL.

I have my own digital piano already, but frankly to include the stand, keyboard, and bench for $50 this seems like an incredible deal.

As far as the incentivized reviews on Walmart's site, I believe that's part of the Walmart Spark program where people get free products in exchange for a review, so you're correct there - however, while I can't speak for this particular product, Alesis is a well known brand.

As far as the post, yeah, that's kind of SD's thing, they make their money from being affiliates and hijacking click-thrus on each deal post and posting sponsored "deals". Personally, I find staff posts to typically be a bit more in the lukewarm category, but without these "promotions" if you will, we wouldn't have this site.

Edit: Also, upon looking up this particular model, it may be a lower end model made exclusively for Walmart. The only places I see information on it are Walmart, Alesis's website and other deal sites. Is it a deal? It's hard to say for certain, but it doesn't pass the sniff test, that's for sure. I'd be wary.

Got the casio s100 other say posted here. But i think lack of chordana on that is negative. This better for a 4yo with table and chair imo.

All reviews of Walmart says 'Incentivized'. This seems to be a shill post.

Can anyone comment on this vs the Casio deal from the other day?

Just looking for a new hobby in 2022 and wondering which keyboard might be best bang for the buck.

I am looking for a keyboard for my kids. Thanks for sharing that Alesis is a well known brand though. I was not aware, so have now placed an order. If it's not as expected… I have a return window till Jan 25th.

I'm assuming at this price it's not a pressure sensitive keyboard.

Alesis is a decent music performance brand, but I'm surprised to see it in Walmart. They own Ion, which is usually their lower-end stuff repackaged for regular retail. I guess they're trying to give this some credibility with the Alesis branding. I'm any case, I'd assume it's solid enough for a starter keyboard for kids. Their stuff isn't top of the line, but it's decent.

The keys are not weighted, no. If you want to learn piano properly, don't get this. If you want a quick intro to music, rhythm and chording, this is a sufficient creative outlet.

I got one for my 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son to share. Great deal! This is a good brand. Not junk. I had one before but the one you connect to your pc.

You're right. We'd only have Fatwallet and they would've probably generated over a billion in cash back to members by now.

Alas, that scenario only played out in the best timeline, not ours.

This is correct. This is basically a toy. It is not touch sensitive to allow for dynamics (loud and soft with the fingers) nor are the keys weighted for better control.

This serves its purpose to see if my 12 year old will actually want to learn before spending $300 on a top of the line model.
I was looking at this one at $110 and kicking around buying it. For $50 it's a no brainer. Not everybody is coming here for the top of the line stuff. It's obviously gonna be a get what you pay for scenario and I'm 100% fine with it.
