Have been looking for AT&T iphone deals for past couple of months. iPhone 12 mini 64gB was for $10/month few weeks ago and now it is $1/month.
Note: AT&T installment plan is for 36 months. You will be paying tax on original cost of the phone either upfront or will be added to bill.
I know it would have been great if it would have been iphone 11 but iphone 12 mini for $1/month: can't complain.

It seems like 36months might now be that long but as someone suggested that it would be nice to have 11 at this price if you think about it by the time one finishes paying it out the iphone 16-17 would be out lol.
In terms of technology 3yrs is a big time and considering most warranties are just for 1yr you would hope that nothing happens to it for last two years unless one would have to pay extra for insurance as well.

That problem applies to any device, doesn't it? Benefit here is that, in about a year, you could get a used iPhone 12 mini for $300 or less. Don't have to worry about an expensive replacement.

Does this phone need to be used at all? I already have AT&T so my plan is to get this and get the bill credits but then trade the phone to best buy and get a 13 mini. Would I need to actually use the phone or can I just pay my normal bill and the $1 a month for 36 months? I don't plan on leaving AT&T anytime soon.

Good deal went into store upgraded iPhone 8. No trade for 128gb. Paid tax and 30 upgrade fee. Also got charger, case and cover on clearance for 25 total.
