Not really. You wouldn't ever use this without the need to transfer irregular shapes onto a material for precise fitting. You're likely a long way from that level of work.

Buy tools as you need them, even if it's not the best price ever. The most expensive tool you own is the one you've never used, regardless of how much you spent on it.
