Look up the reviews on walmart. 33% are 1 star reviews. and that was at a $289 price point. Just not worth it.
It's kinda strange to see RCA, a former leader in top of the line television production, reduced to an afterthought (if they're even thought of at all) in the minds of most TV purchasers.
Went a different direction for family.
Picked up 8 and donated to MDS for Tornado Response:

Not in my opinion. Extended warranties are a huge money maker for the seller,, as they rarely pay out to the buyer.
Well.... that used to be true with TVs but believe nowadays it is worth to purchase the extended warranty specially with expensive TVs eg.... OLED
Manufacturers used to provide 3 year warranties and at times 5 years.
Nowadays the standard is 1 year and TV quality are NOT what they used to be...

You might want to open the box and test out the 65" Element. I purchased two when it was Frontpage, the first one had a cracked screen (returned) and the second one ended up having dark spots on the screen when you turn it on.

Anyone has any experience with this TV? Tempted to buy it if any expert can chime in. TIA.
No Dolby Vision, no HDR10+, no local dimming. These cheap TVs have a crappy color gamut and that's what's more important than the 4K resolution.

I couldn't imagine buying an RCA TV in 2021. I'm amazed they're still around. Other TV brands that should've died out by now are Philips, Panasonic and Toshiba.

Thank you op. Need a cheap tv. Is it worth $69 to get Allstate insurance.
I recently, and very quickly, received a check from Allstate for the price of a failed microwave I purchased in 2019. With cheap throw away electronics, it costs less for the insurer to write it off vs having it repaired.

RCA is just a brand that gets rented out. Does anyone know who makes this television?

Might be a rebrand of this TV which is JVC branded... (the back looks the same) LINK [samsclub.com]

If it is then it has an optical output according to a reviewer on sams.
Curtis International owns the trademark and makes today's RCA-branded TVs.

From the bottom of the RCA website:

RCA AND THE TWO DOGS NIPPER AND CHIPPER LOGO ARE TRADEMARKS OF TECHNICOLOR OR ITS AFFILIATES USED UNDER LICENSE BY CURTIS INTERNATIONAL LTD., 7045 Beckett Drive, Unit 15

Here are the shipping dimensions as per Target's website; I'm pretty sure these are the dimensions of the box.

I would strongly recommend against this set, especially as a primary TV. As another poster said, it's not going to be a quality set. The RCA trademark is owned by Curtis International, who makes the set. I've seen way, way too many reviews demonstrating horrendous QA on Curtis's part to ever consider a set they produce. There are endless reports of RCA TVs arriving with cracked screens, lines on the screens, not powering on, etc. Even if it works, you'll likely be dealing with more dead pixels than you'd get on a better TV, worse blacks, bad panel uniformity, etc.

If you just need a dirt-cheap TV for secondary usage (guest room, exercise room, etc) and don't care about it looking good, it MIGHT do the job. Just know what you're getting into and be prepared to return it to a store if it is dead on arrival or has serious defects (both issues are more common with RCA-branded TVs than other brands). Warranty service if it fails out of Target's return period is going to be basically non-existent (you need to ship the TV back at your own expense, which is extremely cost-prohibitive).

I'd probably spend a little mode to buy a better, more reliable TV from a reputable brand (even as a secondary set).
