This is a good keyboard. There is a matching numpad available for it, also. I like it.

It's Bluetooth, it will work as long as your device supports BT

If you are looking for the white/glacier color BestBuy has it for the same price. I saw that Amazon said the glacier color would be shipped in mid January 2022. I ordered through BestBuy and supposed to be ready for store pick up on 12/23. Might be the same if delivered to house. They have the matte black at the same price as well. OP

Solid compact keyboard with great connectivity. Switch between my computer and iPad which are both on my desk quickly, the way the MX Keys does. I've had it a few months and the battery is still holding up. Keys are coated in like a rubbery material that feels a little weird at first and I expect may in the long run wear out but it's not bad. I replaced my MX keys with this one since the full keyboard layout was taking up too much space and I don't miss it too much. Recommended

I have the same question, I have the K380, it is very nice to use, but it weights 416g with batteries, the MS keyboard says 286g with batteries, I find the K380 to be a bit on the heavy side for carrying around... the K380 does support iOS if you have Apple products.
You can find good prices on K380 on offerup, if it mostly at home use, I would probably still go with the K380, I got the orange colored one, really like it.
I also bought a MS foldable bluetooth keyboard for carrying around... don't use it much.

That's what's holding me back. I'd love backlighting but it's not $100 like the mx keys either...

Virtually impossible to find a keyboard with the numeric keypad overlaid on the letter keys. Practically every laptop-style keyboard used to have this as a standard feature, but it's all but disappeared in the past decade. I hate being needlessly forced to carry a separate and/or too large keyboard for this.

Looks like it's strictly Bluetooth.

Microsoft's page [microsoft.com] on the keyboard says it uses "4 CR2032 Lithium coin batteries (included and pre-installed)" - those are fairly standard watch batteries, so I wouldn't be concerned. Go ahead and order some ahead of time because they usually have a pretty decent shelf life.
