Awesome! I kicked myself for missing the $75 Sam's Club deal (not as hard as I kicked myself for missing the OG big HomePod on clearance at my local Sam's for $109 but…). I had some Best Buy rewards saved up so just scored mine for $65 after tax! I'd say that's a slick deal!

I have a bunch of echo's (dot, show, etc.) and I hate Alexa more everyday. She is the dumbest damn smart device I have ever had… Alexa may be integrated with more things but that doesn't mean they actually work…

That being said I do agree that this is too expensive given the prices of the competition and that's why I am not interested in it.

Can I pair two iPhones at the same time? I don't want simultaneous play. I have an iPhone 12 and iPhone XR both are connected to two different Apple ID's. Is that work?

Can anybody comment who uses them with an Apple TV for stereo paired TV audio? How's the experience? Curious how it would compare to a <$500 soundbar.

I wouldn't expect much from a pair of HomePod mini speakers. They sound good, for sure, but to get the sound that you want out of it you might need to have the volume louder than you might like. I put a mini speaker in my office downstairs and was kind of disappointed in the sound quality relative to the big HomePod at lower volumes, but it's just physics at that point. This is why I'm really annoyed they discontinued the original HomePod. We've got two of them paired with our Apple TV and they sound great.
