Was looking for a solution so I don't have to use google voice for checking texts on a second number .. this plan is great as I can make use of the dual sim feature of the phone and check everything under messages/voicemail

I said 327 thumbs up deal so that says a lot about the deal quality. Lots of people were trading in their iPhones and pixels. I traded a pixel phone and would do that again. I enjoy my pixel phone too.

I was told the grace period is 30 days officially, 60 days unofficially by a CS agent I trust. I've only let one expire for a week or so before reactivating. I think 30 days is fair and reasonable for most cases. I have one line on the $30 annual plan just to park a line that I might want to keep.

Wow. RP is going down the hill quick. Along with the 3G shutdown chaos, terrible CS support, bad tech glitch issues; I'm done with this crap once my contract expires.

* nothing personal against CS agents, perhaps not their fault to deal with endless complaints. But the whole product is screwed.

Baseline is, if you don't have a CS to back it up, don't sell too much. Which they did, and digging deeper down.

Not that I know of, unless there's something in the fine print. Tracfone requires you to use data, talk or text every 6 months. Did you try logging in to your account to check the expiration date and status?

I also lost a phone number with redpocket last year because I forgot to place a reminder to "renew" my plan and went past the 60 day mark.

(Was for an elderly relative's phone they never really use but like to have for emergencies)
