I mean the Noise Cancellation on the Pros give them a significant edge at the current price points. That's not a feature you should just brush aside.

Now if u don't care about ANC, then yea the third gen pods are a better value.

This has went down to 159.99 recently for couple of days. Worth waiting to till christmas to see if goes down again.

In addition to noise cancellation it has much snug fit for workout and stuff with the tip. 3rd ed falls from my ear so many times it is annoying. One has to be blessed by Apple gods to have a ear which fits 3rd ed snug .

There are no post for the 3 retailers I linked to. Not everyone has a Costco membership or Prime. Plus people are trying to find deals they can pick up before Christmas. Maybe make sure you throughly read before commenting.

It was $159.99 less $10 promo code so $149.99 for pickup at Walmart before Thanksgiving. The noise cancellation works pretty well for earbuds.

I am in a no win situation.

The "in canal" AirPods, they hurt after about an hour or so. The AirPods 3rd generation, they tend to fall out of my ears.

Anyone else in a situation like me, what has been your solution?

If you're going for the 3rd gen, just get the 2nd gen, they are both non-ANC anyway.
