Do you game? If you don't, this isn't for you.
I got the white one a month ago for $138. The battery life is excellent and it is extremely responsive as a wireless mouse as compared to my G900. It is also extremely light, to the point where sometimes it's hard to control as I've been used to moving around mice with a bit more weight for 30ish years. So, I'm adjusting. Would I recommend it? Maybe. I'm still deciding. It's better than the G900 for sure. I like the form factor a lot more for my big hands vs the G900. The only thing that the G900 wins at is it being side button customizable and infinity scroll (I miss the scroll). But, you can't have everything for this kind of weight.

Is any mouse really worth more than $50? Probably not. This is a luxury buy. An average computer user should stay far far away from this device. This is for people who are hard core into playing games and that's it.

For those games I recommend a Microsoft Intellimouse. It's overkill to use this to frag a bunch of boomers with CRT monitors.
Okay thanks! Next question, which may change your answer: what if you also play minesweeper competitively?? https://minesweeper.online/

For a non-gamer to pair w/MX keys, this or MX master 3?
Definitely the MX Master or MX Anywhere 3. The Logitech G software lacks the mouse gestures support on the MX series that is great for productivity (such as changing the workspace by holding down the gesture button and swiping left/right).

Depends. What's your rank? Probably can justify this if you're top 10% and pushing the limits of your current mouse.

After owning this and the previously version and a large selection of other mice I'll add my 2 cents.

They fixed the double click related to the omnron switches with this one so it doesn't. Unlike the original which I had.

The scroll wheel is shit and wheel go bad, not scrolling or skipping past when you stop one more time randomly within 2 seconds of stopping. This is really annoying when you swap weapons in cod or any other fps and it goes back to the weapon you just swapped from. Which may be ammo depleted or just a shorter pick resulting in you losing a fight because even if you were dead on aim you swapped weapons and did nothing while you swapped weapons a few times and got shot.

It sucks not having the right side switches if you used them previously.

The weight although like doesn't even feed much different than g305 with aaa lithium (86gish) let alone much different from original GPW.

The usb connector is still the trash usb micro for a new $150 product this is unacceptable and bs. It's like the purposely do it to make you buy the wireless charge pad which is to small for any competitive fps or more cords for them.

This one is a biggy. The profile is default to 800 dpi and shifts dynamically depending the game by default. I use 3200 dpi and change my in game sense depending on it to match 3200 edpi This is fine with the light speed g502 and the g305. However on this is bugged. I ram 800 dpi for a few days until wondering why my wrist carpal tunnel was acting up. To have to lock the profile. Which solves it. However only partly. If the software is updating and it forces you to do this you don't have a choice. It stays at 800dpi and won't change. The software will take forever to update sometimes even only bring 600mb or less if you own 3 or more light speed products. It takes 45 minutes with a 5950x with a gen4 nvme ssd and 32gb Samsung b die running 3766c12. So for almost an hour you either can't play anything or all your games or characters with custom sensitivity need changes based off 800 dpi not whatever your base is.

It works it's light it lasts 60 hours on 1000hz 3200dpi.

I think it's software dependent. I recommend the g305 or the m710 cooler master or the something else that doesn't need software. This sometimes doesn't register clicks as it's updating bs in the background.

It does not as that would hinder performance.

I have multiple Logitech wired and wireless mice and generally prefer a slightly heavier and larger mouse. I know this one is advertised as super light so probably not for me - but how is the size - is this similar in size to Logitech's larger mice?

How does this compare size-wise to the G602/G604? Im a fan of the slightly wider Mice. G900 was too skinny for me

Speaking of the build quality of the last mouse, the G Pro Wireless (80g), you'll more than likely have issues one year from purchase with every day use. Although, the warranty is great and I got a new mouse every time.

Within the past two years of ownership.

Left click started double clicking - logitech replaced mouse
--------------------- Warranty ended ------------------
Right click started double clicking - replaced both omron switchs with kalith red
Forward side button double clicks - replaced with new omron switch
Backward side button double clicks - replaced with new omron switch
Scroll wheel started to develop double scrolling - replaced with new kalith decoder

If you are okay with the mouse lasting a year, this product is for you. If you are handy with soldering, this product is also for you. If you are neither of the two, pass on this one and get a regular logitech mouse. Obviously my experience may be different than yours, but I think with all of the kalith upgrades, this mouse is finally solid.
