I broke my nice headphones and have been in the market for something for a few weeks. Found this on ebay today, Factory refurbished HD660S for $299 and you can apply the 15% off code (SAVEONCR15) to take $44 off. I live in a state with sales tax so ended up $281 out the door.

I bought these used off an ebay seller because they looked pristine. Paid 240 total, but damn I was hoping for this deal through Senn 12 days ago. Timing can be frustrating. I do like them though, not as much as my Sundara's but they are more analytical vs my 6XX. Much easier to drive thx to the 150 ohm drivers. Lately I've been just enjoying them daily with the other 2 sidelined for now.
Next time those HE6V2 hit that price new I gotta get them, lol. The grille mod some have done looks amazing as well.
If you want more detail in the upper mids and treble then yes, and a bit more soundstage for gaming. Otherwise it's not a huge upgrade. I don't regret grabbing them despite having 6XX's.

Edit bought an Atom+ amp b grade for about $100 delivered. A grade is $111 delivered
