I haven't found this to be remotely the case in my use. Smooth as butter, very quick and haven't had the first bug or glitch.

Be aware that if you are a Cricket customer looking for a phone to use on their network this will NOT work starting February of 2022. It has to be the IN2015, which the T-Mobile version is not.

On the first page, shark said it was easy to sim unlock, but it wasn't clear if his phone was already activated to TMobile prior to unlock.

I don't need this unlocked from T-Mobile as I am not going anywhere from my 3 family members $30 each per month unlimited everything plan.

I do however need them to start dropping the price of this 8T down to at least $299.

agree, i think $299 makes more sense for me. this is still a great price if you need something now, but i can wait.

Yeah, I can wait them out. I have had mine just over a year now and love it.

Just want to buy one for my elderly dad. His current phone is very adequate, but I would just like to buy him one of these as an upgrade.

I will also say this, I have alerts set but if this drops and anyone notices this post I would not object to quick PM in case I somehow miss it. Smilie

I know nothing about phones. If I get the unlocked phone, can I just take it to AT&T store and have them port my account over? I've been using the Essential phone, but the gps stopped working and Essential is no longer supported.

I got my OnePlus 8T but unable to unlock it.. I had order OnePlus 8 and that was easy to unlock but 8T getting error 255. Can anyone help?

There is a guy on Swappa ripping out 9 5gs for 415 all day long. NIB, ATT white listed variant, and unlocked. I'd buy one of those over an 8t from oneplus if I was in the market for this kind of phone.

Looks like he has sold several and has several listed.

Any issues using this on T-Mobile? Missing 5G bands etc?

Not real keen on the 128 storage vs 256 for the 8T however.

Looks like it has the TMobile bands without the TMobile splash screen and slower updates. It's a pretty solid deal.

Unlocking has only ever worked with postpaid plans, not prepaid and MVNO plans.
