I talked to some employees about it, they said bundles at their store would be around $1000. Would like a ps5 but I don't want the games, gift cards and accessories they bundled. Totally understand why they're doing it, but for me personally it's not a good match. Good luck to those going for it!

304 stores are going to have these and I can't find one.....it's a shame that Playstation doesn't offer their loyal customers first opportunity before selling to other outlets. Thanks for the heads up!

Hard to really fault them too much. The bundles are big enough to keep scalpers away yet still better than buying from a scalper and they get to sell high margin items.

I got there an hour before opening (New Hyde Park NY) and was 23 in line. I believe if you got there about 5 minutes after opening you were still able to get one. It was the first time I tried to get one in person and didn't seem as bad as I had heard earlier in the year. It was alot easier than wasting time online.
