I would buy this if they didn't shrink the keyboard and took out the num pad for side speakers.

Can I output 4k resolution to an external monitor? Will like to use this laptop as a workstation as well
Thanks

The memory is upgradeable as it shows 1x8GB and 1x4GB. I have the 15z-eu000 touch with basically the same specs and chassis, though the bottom plate is slightly different. It's under a clipped on metal shield but easy enough to get to once the bottom is off.
There's one m.2 NVME slot (PCIE 3.0 x 4) which is populated.
Despite what you may read elsewhere, USB-C charging works. The caveat is there are only a few supported voltage/amperage combinations supported, the adapter needs to support one or more of those modes, it probably needs to be a USB-C to USB-C cable or an adapter with a USB-C plug (instead of a normal barrel), and the cable needs to support higher wattage USB PD (power delivery). This page link is for my model specifically but the same thing most likely applies to this and similar models as well: https://support.hp.com/us-en/prod.../c04723006

I just returned 15.6 HP Pavillion (i7-1195G7, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD for $699) due to the screen being 250nit and not bright.

Can confirm. Went to Costco and it had a keypad. In the description it says keypad also. the photo is wrong
I just noticed today that the price has been down to $749 from $799. So, Costco adjusted the price for me. Such a good deal!
