I went ahead and bought a global 14-day ultimate pass for $4 and it appears it worked. It says I have ultimate until 12/27/2024, so it appears they gave me an extra 6 weeks that I didn't pay for. Pretty weird, but no complaints.

Correction I was able to redeem the gold codes but impossible to upgrade to ultimate. Get a subscription is in another region error. Tried upgrading in the turkey site with turkey prepaid card also got a region error.

Why the option for brazil still appears in the app is beyond me.

For a data point, using NordVPN (Brazil) it worked without a problem.
The price has gone up a dollar since, also you may want to do the $6 one if you're worried about the seller ratings. I just bought from the cheapest one, even though he had a bad rating, it ended up working.
*EDIT* I see it won't let me link here. I googled "xbox ultimate 14 day" and its the first option.
If you are going this route, make sure you're region is set to Turkey in your microsoft account. I changed it back to Turkey and it didn't work at first, then I closed all my browser windows and logged in again and it worked. It asks for a renewal credit card at the end, I didn't have a problem using mine.

You can have your account completely banned if something is fishy about it. I wouldn't chance it with my nearly 20 yr acct. I've had a friend that was banned. I'm not saying anyone will be, but that the possibility is there when you don't buy from MS or authorized dealers.
My Microsoft Account region does show the United States as well but I continue to get the Subscription Region error... I guess at this point my only option would be contacting Customer Support?
