Been waiting 3 months for a replacement
I can attest to this. SN750 crapped out on me, took a month to get it registered at Western Digital's website, then waited from early Nov til now for a replacement that is "ready to ship". The replacement has not left the warehouse in a week yet they have stock of drives on their retail site.
RMA process hell. Telephone and chat support are complete crap. Be forewarned, even if you go from level 1 to level 2 tech to supervisor from abroad when you call, their resolution is always the same - "we will escalate the case and contact the team concerned". It's a never ending cycle of frustration.
Better Business Bureau complaints don't get responded to for about a week or 2 either so you're gonna need the patience of a saint and then some for a real resolution. Western digital's registration and RMA process have completely gone down the drain.
I criticized NewEgg, and you appear to have had your feelings hurt. Perhaps on their behalf? I simply pointed out facts. This is nothing against you personally. So, probably best not to take it that way. I've seen plenty of your deals on SD over the years and they've been great. I don't even KNOW you lol. Why would anyone take someone's criticism of a massive corporation personally. Puzzling. Maybe because others might thumbs down, and decrease the number of imaginary internet points this post gets? Wow.
