Used for one year. No issues this far. CDMA and GSMA.

Have been with red pocket for 3 years. No issue. But I believe visible is better with party plan.

I tried out their $1 per month special back in Nov. They charged me the renewal of $50 plus tax one full day before it was due. I called to cancel and they have the gut to tell me oh we detected some usage so no refund (again they charged 1 day early). Escalated to manager and they refunded, says takes 7 to 10 days to show. 25 days later nothing. I am now opened dispute on the charge with my credit card company.

It's one of the shadiest companies I ever dealt with.

Red pocket is just fine. Used then for several years on multiple lines. We don't have them right now due to not catching a deal when we were up for renewal, but this triggered my alert I have open for rp.

Visible is ok too, but I had issues with unusable internet. Granted as with all providers it all depend on your area.

Mint is ok at the current 1/2 price deal if tmo works for you, but at regular price I would personally go w rp.

Not sure what you mean old party line. For visible unlimited plan, you only pay 25 per month if your plan have 4 members.

I live in Mayberry and have a party line phone number and share with Gomer and Sheriff Andy. Mabel the operator is pretty good at keeping us separate.

I see a Red Pocket post and I feel a sense of duty to warn others of our experience. If you care about sending messages with your phone service, avoid Red Pocket at all cost. It is well-documented in previous posts and in our experience that RP will shut down your text messaging without warning because they claim it is being overused. They refer you to their terms of service, which they claim gives them the right to do so at any time they want for any reason they want. They won't tell you how many is too many, but from anecdotal evidence, it is somewhere in the range of more than 8 messages in a minute, which is easy to do in group messaging. Their unlimited messaging is not unlimited! Avoid RP at all cost if you care at all about messaging.

Some people like to text almost each word separately for whatever reason so in that case it's very easy to get ton of messages in a matter of minutes so RP should get their $hit together and be honest about their wrong-doings especially when they're trying to bring people into yearly service.

I did this from Unreal in Nov, took two and a half days and more than an hour of chat on two tries. Remember that Unreal is a sister company to them, so why in the world so difficult? Well, as per their explanation, they could not port directly, so they had to port the Unreal line to VZ and then back to RP. Ok, sounds legit, but then why two days without phone service to do this? No remorse on their part. The agents are simply not trained to be compassionate, and their tech skills for those of us who have a problem is almost non-existent.

They are just not worth the aggravation. Connection data issues with iPhone as well.
I would not go back personally, but those customers who have a good result, great for you.
