For all the complainers in this thread, this iPad is $329 MSRP, which has not changed since the 5th gen, back in March 2017. The 4th gen was $399. With inflation and chip constraints, every other piece of electronic as gone UP in price. The A13 absolutely curbstomps any Android competition, even the newest gen Qualcomm/Tensor models (before I get accused of being a fanboy, my phone and primary device are both Pixels), and in fact is newer than the last gen iPad Air's A12. This iPad is for watching Netflix, browsing the web, something to give your kids to keep them occupied. $299 buys you 5+ years of software support (try that on a Galaxy S7), and 64 GB of storage. I get that these used to be $250 on BF, and I myself have waited 2 years to see if they will go back to that price. It ain't gonna happen. Even if Apple charged $399 for this tablet, it'll still be the best option for what it does, there is literally no other competition except for maybe Chromebook tablets that are more expensive. If you want something better, pay up for an Air 4 or Pro.
