I love this gun, it was by far the most useful/go-to item I have in my arsenal. That being said, I got the p307 dual temp gun and it is eons better in all regards. Just the "ready" light made it worth it and the dual temp and drip tray are solid features as well.

Yesterday I used it assist in a sink repair. My single hole faucet has a tendency to loosen after my yeti sized in-laws use the sink. Since it's a hand tighten unit and I have almost zero clearance to get to it I dropped a dollop of glue at the base of the nut to keep it from working free as easy. Last week I mounted a Bosch battery charger (w/o a screw mount option) to the cluster of Ryobi chargers I have on the wall. I've use it to mount accessories on a pine wood derby car. I had issues lining up a gang plate on a ceiling mounted box in a closet over my head. I could not for the life of me get the screws in while holding the plate so I dropped a dollop on the plate, lined it up and let it set, then screwed it in. My neighbor keeps stealing it so I gave him the old one for Christmas and upgraded...

If DT follows their own MO there will be a NY sale coming, prob with another free shipping option. If you pick this up, keep it in the package for a couple of days just in case.

My 2 cents, you do you.

My wife has this for her second grade classroom and absolutely loves it. It makes her set up at the beginning of each year. Go nice and quick and easy and make some of the other teachers jealous.

mind sharing what you use it for? im trying to validate adding it to my ryobi lineup, but seeing what everyone uses it for. My wife does some crafting some times and she has a crappy wired glue gun for that but thats sparingly.

Wouldn't this be a good deal for the battery alone?

Oh, it's really good for tacking cat 5 runs and for mounting baseboard boxes. You don't have to drill into anything or deal w double sided tape. Don't get me started w the Christmas lights...

I've always thought these were for arts and crafts, however had this for about 2 weeks. So far used it to fix my work boot that was falling apart, and I have a 6ft
Xmas inflatable polar bear with a broken zipper. Just pinched it closed and ran a thick bead of glue, a week later still holding and staying inflated.
