They work. Nothing special. For casual home use they're fine for most things. if you're trying to do some details/specific/specialty rotary tool work then you know better than to buy these.

This implies that eye protection isn't needed on name brands attachments. Wear them regardless.

I'll add, I've had good luck with these cheap kits. The variety is great and if one of the pieces doesn't perform, I know to look for a better one of that specific bit. For my purposes, that hasn't happened yet. On the thin non reinforced cutting wheels, I don't care what brand you have, one small mis-alignment mid way through something and that cutting wheel is instantaneously shrapnel. I use the flexible shaft attachment on my Dremel which gives some more control.

Thanks for the heads up... all the "Hyper tough holiday pack stuff" like this is on sale...got both items, plus the battery powered staple gun I'd been looking at, and a few other things without having to hit the stores to look (website said my store was out anyway)...or even putting on pants...so living the dream!

I picked up one of these in store just a few days ago for $10. It's worked well so far. Like others have said, the thinner discs are easily toast. That's why they are packed in there. I did have good success with the large, thin (about twice the size) discs, though I wasn't cutting through any really tough materials.
