Many people on this site have indicated anker surge protectors arent what they say they are.. they dont have the correct standards to be called "surge protectors" you cAn search old threads if u care, here is an old thread

Clamping Voltage: L-N/L-G/N-G: 500 volts.

"Clamping voltage" is is the voltage that the surge protector will let through to your equipment before it diverts it to ground. There is a reason you have to dig for this info: 500 volts is not good!
