I tried both, and ezseed is best because of the mulch that keeps seed moist in hot weather. It happens to be on sale too. Scotts EZ Seed Patch and Repair Sun and Shade - 20 lb https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0168K9...WFHG?

There's no such thing as st Augustine seed. So you should be fine. You'll likely get anything but st Augustine
it would be nice to know whether the seed is annual or perennial… cant seem to find that anywhere…
