Have been waiting on this deal. Best offer outside of buying a Fire Kids Edition that comes with a free year.

My kids use this on trips, as most games can be played offline once downloaded. Prime membership not required.

Also already had a membership that expires on Jan 30, 2022, but I contacted support on chat:
"I have cancelled and refunded the remaining balance. You can then resubscribe at the discounted price as the promo cannot be added on the subscription. "

FYI I had the single kid plan and had the option to upgrade to the family plan for 20 bucks. Now just have to set up a reminder to cancel the subscription a year from now before autopay...

I don't believe you can truly curate which is why i one of the many reasons I will return or cancel my glow + kids. A parental dashboard and rhetoric about selecting shows is not okay when you really can only curate your purchased shows and not subscriptions. My glow even prioritized marketed junk @250 bucks entry price. None of us know the names of all the characters in /random shows, but we sure had to scroll past it to get to basic stuff. And being shoveled cross marketing/physical products + a "parent dashboard" is serious bs, imho.

I'm not seeing how to browse the content without signing up.

We just let our two young(-ish) boys run free on youtube, unfiltered. They've seen some things, repeated some things. But they know all the best memes.

I stopped the filtering fight awhile back, and so far it's been fine.

We got a free one year kids with a Echo device Christmas 2020. I let it expire because the kids never used it. We seem to have enough real books for the kids and never used the other stuff.

I think the shows are the same as Amazon Prime but they are filtered to the child age configured.
Best games?
I don't really know if they have the best games but they have a lot of games that are also filtered by the child age.

My suggestion is to try the service, they offer a free trial and get your own opinion, "your kids will help with the final answer"!
