This a great price for this aio. I have this running with my 5950x and it keeps my CPU nice and cool, 35-40 during idle and 65 under load.

This is a bullcrap spam post.

Every AIO cooler starts off with reviews that sound almost identical to this line, with only very minor changes in wording, maybe a 5900 vs 5950, etc. Sure flag that this is self-promotion.

Also, many of the reviews mention that the pump makes a loud, annoying buzzing sound. That's a dealkiller to many since half the point of an AIO in this size is to reduce noise; otherwise you're better off buying a Noctua air-cooler since it would probably cool better and definitely be quieter.

Many also complain that it doesn't cool very well.

If you're actually trying to cool a 5800, 5900x or 5950x, you should look to buy a powerful, quiet, well-reviewed, well-supported and popular cpu cooler, preferably something with a 360mm radiator if your case can handle it.

Not really sure how my post is spam. I am running this exact aio in a NR200 case with a 5950x.

I've been shopping at newegg for 15+ years and done ~20 rebates and have gotten every single one of them processed successfully. Follow instructions and do them on time. Dont spread lies due to your own incompetance.

Sooooo you're running a 240 aio on a 5950x at load and you're only reaching 65? Nonsense. You have people running 360 or larger reaching 80.

Ya, you have one guy here saying he's keeping his 5950x at 65 degrees, at load, with this aio. Nope.

Ya, people are down voting me, but he's not getting those numbers on a 5950x

I had the 240mm version of this and after about 6 months it started making a loud gurgling noise that was rather annoying, so I bought an Artic Cooling Freezer II to replace it. A few days later, not having had the time to install the new AIO, I realized after noticing my case fans were on full blast that yep, the pump had failed and my CPU was idling at 85C. I guess it could have been worse - it could have leaked or sprayed out liquid everywhere.

So I replaced the the Coolermaster AIO with the Arctic Cooling one (which is miles better even comparing new to new) and threw the Coolermaster one in the trash. I suppose I could have RMAed the thing, but I wouldn't put a refurbed or even new variety of one of these in my PCs ever again, and I don't have any enemies currently in need of an AIO cooler.

I'm still running the Wraith fan that came with my 2600, so I was hoping this would be a good replacement since the price is right. 60% off is a good deal, but also a suspicious deal imho. I can wait.

Had it for months on 5800x, no issue no noise at all. Will upgrade to 5900x soon. It replaces my EK-AIO 240, I had very similar temps at about same noise level (no scientific proof). This roughly performs at the level of the best 240s.

You don't even need 280 AIO for a 5900X, let alone 360. I had Arctic LF II 240 on another 5900X build, with PBO Power Limit set to mobo, still well below throttles under Cinebench multicore (75F-ish room temp, Lian Li Lancool II Mesh)

After all 5950x only draws 140w if set to PBO Auto (aka all default). A Noctua D15 can borderline handle that load even with Zen3's sub-optimal heat dissipation.

This isn't top of the line AIO but it also only costs around half of those. With the savings you can just get two Arctic P14s. The pump noise often is associated with pump/rad placement, and I'd take NE average reviewers with a big grain of salt.
