32" is way too small for 4k for these old eyes. I got the LG 32QN600-B 32-Inch QHD instead. Only $216 SD from Amazon. Great monitor.

I bought this monitor last year for BF at Costco for $550. I highly recommend it.

60Hz is enough for productivity/WFH. The Ergo stand is very easy to use and set up, the only con is 270˚ rotation, so if you plan to have 2 vertically mounted, you'll be faced with an LG logo. That's the only thing preventing me from getting 2 of them.

This is a big monitor. I went from a 23" and I'm now used to the bigger size. Flat panel does not bother me. Colors look excellent and the monitor UI is pretty good. HDR content is pretty bad, IMO.

My job is sw engineering and this has been an excellent monitor for my WFH.

Half of the comments here are really suspect to me. Not all, but a lot of people with 10-20 rep saying how this is such a great deal, and many others calling out very reasonable observations on it. No one saying it is a bad monitor but it is 60hz and not curved , 350 nits and just seems a bit off to me. Just my opinion.

Want one but can't clamp to my Ikea desk Frown
several options
1. buy a small table that you can use to clamp the stand (this is what i did).
2. buy a separate VESA stand [amazon.com] and mount the monitor on that

I bought two of these a few months back and I run them through a Caldigit dock connected to my Macbook Pro without any issues. The mount on this display is very good quality, but I'm a bit disappointed with the channel used for routing all the display cables. Folks with multiple cables or thicker cables will have a difficult time hiding their cables.

Why is this monitor expensive, is it due to resolution?

Compared to LG linked below which is QHD and VA which is priced at $249 don't get why this is repped so high? or the ACER 32" QHD IPS panel that was on sale for $200 before TG at Costco.

can someone enlighten me -

The ACER which was IPS and priced at $199 at Costco prior to TG did not get this many reps. I do agree the ACER is QHD vs this one which is UHD. But $300 difference?

On another note the ACER is rated at 75Hz vs 60Hz for this LG. The LG I have listed is rated for 165Hz which definitely is a plus for gamers.

Those are 2k monitors, even though the screen size is the same. The LG ultra fine (UHD) Ultra High Definition aka 4K is their top tier line. Add the ergo, basically for the stand adjustability in almost every direction, and USB-C hub. This feature adds a lot of functionality (power through usb-c for laptops and keyboard mouse). But if you are into gaming then the higher refresh rate may be suitable for you. Otherwise this LG has a high ppi + optimized color calibration out of the box for those office/graphics professionals.

Personally I went with the 32UP83A because I missed this deal pre-holidays and haven't looked back. Coming from TN panel to IPS 4K is night and day. And that lasted 9yrs. Invest in a good monitor and it will pay dividends.

The monitor in the OP has IPS panel, 4k resolution, USB-C, speakers, and the ergo mount is pretty unique and prob worth around $100 alone. If you want a gaming monitor, the LG 32UN880 is not for you, I'd say it's more for productivity. I have one in the box still, but plan to install it soon. I also have a LG VA 32" 165hz monitor for gaming that is very similar to the $249 one. It just depends on what your use case is.

I've been using this monitor for 3 months now. It is a great monitor for productivity and casual 60Hz gaming. You can't get a 32" 4K IPS panel with an ergo stand for this price. Great deal if you need it.
