However, it was the 1/2 inch drill that was the selling point for me. With one 1.5 20V battery, the drill was $89.99 and is now on sale for $73 and some change.
All in all, paying $89.99 for the whole set is something I didnt think twice about because I've had my eye on the 1/2 inch drill for quite a while now.

1. Rarely the app will scan different price than the actual in-store price. It happened to me. In case of discrepancy always double check potentially great deal at the checkout.
2. The app may show price at a neighboring zipcode store. Double check that.
3. The product you scanned had a different barcode from the one posted here 840092604140
Methinks, it could be the other way around
These have same quality as the cheapo Black and Decker tools. Good for maybe drilling small pilot holes, hanging picture frames, the driver is meh.
It's basically a cordless drill, which I already have, and 3 of the tools dont seem too useful. Some kind of "work light" I dont see as using or being handier than my led flashlight, a hand vac which I already have one of those in the house, and a sawzall which, I cant imagine a cordless sawzall has the kind of power you'd need although, I guess it could come in handy...I just cant think of for what, and i have a corded sawzall. So that ends up basically I'm paying 99 for the low end impact driver that probably costs 30-40 on it's own. Dont really see it for me but YMMV. Maybe if you dont already have a decent cordless drill and you need all three of drill/impact driver/sawzall, then 99 for those three is pretty ok. The other two items are kinda gimmicks IMO. And you also get two batteries which is something to consider.
I use hyper tough which is WM's cheap but ok quality chinese brand, and they've been effective for what they are and the price. Hart seems to be the upscale WM step up brand from hyper tough, so it should be pretty decent quality not great of course not equal to a Dewalt etc.
Would be better IMO if the light and vac were replaced with more useful tools.
With a full charger at 6 amp I can cut 35 4x4 post in half with ease.
Can't say what this brand will do.... but throw a pruner blade on this one and it probably good enough for underbrush, small demo jobs or cutting pvc pipe. That 1.5 amp battery isn't going to get you far.
I would check prices on stronger batteries and just how far you can advance in tool line up vs potential future needs. You may find your limited or other tools outside this kit cost way more than what you can buy Ryobi (example) for new or used/refurb/blemished.

Wonder if I should go buy 10 units from another store... return to that one and wait for them to restock their shelves with the returns...lol
i got a couple of hart cordless stick vacs. the pet version with msrp of $200. on clearance for $54. the appeal was the vacuum used these same 20v batteries and stick vacs with easily replaceable/swappable batteries. got them for the in-laws for light duty use.
could not find another store with the same price on the stick vacs (tried to buy more as gifts) so i didnt post.
edit: should have specified "buy for the batteries and sell the rest" for those already in the hart ecosystem. this would be good for those starting out and not tied to an ecosystem... but then you can probably get into ryobi for about the same price with more tool choices.
That being said, the price for the entire combo kit is not standard in any regard. It's pretty damn slick; in fact, so much so that I had to buy two sets. I'm happy. Try one out. I think you'll like it quite a bit. 😃
