Lots of Hart clearance lately. Is WM getting rid of them already?

quite possibly just moving the current stock that's been sitting idle on the shelves.

I imagine the product only has so much shelf life especially those batteries. I can't imagine Walmart moving alot of these at the regular prices they are charging.

Yeah, BS tells me it's $35 10 miles from me…not even worth the risk with BS

Yeah, last time I tried to get the shopvac, no dice. They had the "newer" shopvac with a different barcode at full price. I don't think I'll even try at this point. WalMart deal hunting is YMMV at best.

BS said 6 at $99, Walmart app said none. Found them on a top shelf.
They have the 4 tools for $178 down low.

I've been impressed with my 40v Hart tools. Have not used any 20v yet but at $99 it's a good deal. I have a Walmart close-ish to me that says they have some in stock for $50 but not worth the risk in my experience with Brick Seek.

No problem! I'm jealous! Smilie

Some random thoughts/points:

This 5 piece set was on deep clearance a while back ($35-$45) but impossible to find. When the tools and electronics hit rock bottom prices, there are (some) employees who will hoard them. Case in point: the Lenovo i5 laptop I got for $55. The store supposedly had 3 in stock but the employee said it must have been a mistake. I peered through that big locked cage where they keep big-ticket electronics and looked at every box and found all 3 - turned backwards on purpose.

Anyhow, back to the original point. Once upon a time this tool set was on dirt cheap clearance but couldnt be found. It went back up for sale on Walmart at full price and dropped for Black Friday and the Holidays. Yesterday, it hit $99. Although Walmart may say its out of stock, I'd go look in store if there's one close to you. The likelihood of it being in stock is relatively strong. This is post-holiday pricing and most stores should have a handful of them.

On a side note, Walmarts system reconfiguration of their inventory and price checking features has resulted in things showing out of stock completely. Regardless, I usually find what I'm looking for.

Its come to the point where ironically, I trust brickseek for Walmart more than I trust Walmart now, whereas before, brickseek drove me nuts.

If you check your store, look on the end caps, uppermost shelves of the top section and the bottom as well.

Regarding the black and decker set of comparable value and quality - I got one for $60. However it came with a 3/8 inch chuck drill. Finding a cordless 1/2 inch drill with two batteries for under $99 is a no brainer deal for me. Everything else in this Hart set is just icing on the cake. Why the 1/2 inch? Hardcore cement mixing with a robust mixing paddle from the H-depot. Big Grin

You won't be once you start using it, buy a real set
I've been using Hart tools for about two years now. I've replaced most of my other tools with their Hart counterparts. The warranty is stellar, the quality is great for a DIYer/casual user, and I use the batteries on the power tools but also Hart outdoor yard equipment. My Hart string trimmer and edger is BOSS.

I dont need to use a Dewalt drill or a Makita reciprocating saw to feel like a bad ass woman wielding tools with names that dont justify the pricing.

And Hart tools make me feel like a bad ass to begin with: quality + performance + value = happy camper.

I was able to grab the Craftsman 20V drill and impact brush-less set for $60.00. Are the Craftsman's that much better then the Hart's???

this is a nice tool kit to have fun with with screwing things in or cutting a 2x4 , nice lil flashlight, this probably wont take care of do it yourself projects but hey, for $99 bucks, most women can have this in their arsenal atleast just incase they need to take care of a few things
