Goes great with the Chase and Discover 5% rewards this quarter. I was beginning to wonder if they had done away with this 4X rewards as did not see any all of December.

Yep, good timing with 5% back. fyi, Kroger had 4x through 12/12/21.. they usually cut it off a few wks before xmas.

I was never able to use Chase credit card at the store while checking out with a gift card. Amex always works. I think the terminal blocks chase cards when purchasing gift cards

I use my Chase Freedom Unlimited card (5% back for first year) all the time at Kroger while buying gift cards. I have never had a problem.

Never had a problem using Chase at Kroger. I usually buy Amazon gift cards or Visa then buy Amazon from Visa. Kroger usually voids mine out right after using one or the other now.
