1) With some previous Nintendo cartridge driven systems, you get a little bubble holder thing, not even a full legitimate case. Disc driven games? Sometimes just a cheap envelope, not even a game case. Pretty lame.
2) Printing it yourself requires you to have a somewhat decent printer, or access to one. Also, **quality** color ink and paper, isn't terribly cheap in its own right.
So. On a wickedly good deal like this, where I got literally 3 copies of Terraria for $16? No. No I'll take them all day without a case. No problem. Typical used GME pricing? No, I'd rather have a case. I could just buy used on Mercari / eBay and see / know what I'm getting.

This is also coming from boys who now play PC games (Fortnite, COD, Valorant).
Enjoy this time with your child! Precious moments gone too quickly.
The Terraria one came in original box. So, I guess I was lucky to get tat at $8.
The touchscreen integration is amazing and just makes sense. I was weary at first but it's more than just a "controller game" your able to click and drag items very easily. Very cool game highly recommend it.
I'm always ordering 2 or 3 copies of games just to get that one complete copy. Gamestop can spend their money shipping stuff if their not going to fix their system where condition of games matters none.

People like to display their games on shelves, and some games hold their value or increase in value.
Terraria may or may not be a title that ever holds value, but either way - having the original case, original artwork, or original manual typically makes the game more collectible or valuable.
