For those who want to go to 32gb, this laptop doesn't support XMP. Therefore, the "Kingston FURY Impact 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL20 Laptop Memory Kit of 2 KF432S20IBK2/32, Black" is the way to go as it operates @ 3200mhz CL20 @ 1.2v with no XMP. The JEDEC 1.2v profile keeps frequency @ 3200Mhz and response timings equal to CL20 whereas RAM like the Corsair Vengeance will only run @ 2666mhz without XMP.
He doesn't know that desktop 11th gen (Rocket Lake) and laptop 11th gen (Tiger Lake), are 2 complete different architecture.
Thanks! I did some research and the Omen laptop that was just posted earlier for 999.99 with the intel 11th gen tiger lake is very comparable processor to this AMD 5800h. The difference in 200 dollars seems like a fair balance but going with intel may be a better option considering its cheaper and offers absolute similar performance based on these benchmarks.
Reading the end of the article especially put the two processors in a nice perspective and both seem like good laptops, I might just go with the intel and pick one up tomorrow at our local Microcenter. Thank you again!
I bought this October of 2021. Great laptop. Game on it often. Ultra settings on forza horizon 5. No issues with anything. Fast start up. Lots of storage and has the full power 3060. 1080p gaming is great on this!
Watched a couple YouTube videos that people upgrade the ram(2 sticks instead of one, wifi chip, and add another storage(2 slots available).
It's a great laptop. No issues with anything even the wifi.
I've had last year's model of this for over a year now. no issues with anything
Unfortunately, it may only be a matter of time unless you are lucky. It seems like there's no escaping the Lenovo 5 hinge issue
See below from another poster in another thread (link also given below) on the Lenovo 5 series. Looks like there is no escape to the hinge issue on the Lenovo 5 line, no matter the variant (14", 17.3", office laptop, gaming laptop, etc).

Hinges on mine started giving after 3 years. Year 4 ones completely gone and won't shut correctly. Eventually the screen will go as a result.
I have this exact laptop. Can play Control with the settings cranked up for about an hour and 30-45 minutes before the battery warning pops up. Been using it for about 90 minutes this morning doing light stuff and I'm at 68% battery. Got it for $1,300 last fall. Love it so far

Most people are using laptops like this as DTR so why does it even matter.
