It HAS to be a Gen4 drive to even function. Google will tell you what type of drives are compatible, sony has that info directly.

its not about suggested speed at all, its about the fact this drive wont even work with the ps5 since its a gen 3 and ps5 REQUIRES a gen 4.

Looking at the relatively high number of DOA/died in the first few weeks, I'd rather get the faster Intel 670p for the same money even if it has half the nominal TWAs.

Depending on usage. I wouldn't take that QLC (Intel) over this TLC (Mushkin)..
